Failures

This is a document where I document some of my failures. I don't like the word failures, but this is a document that more-so contains things I wanted to achieve but did not, or times where I believe I dropped the bar. I am not writing this to complain, but more so for my own personal motivation and for others to see that I have had my fair share of setbacks and failures.

Failures

February 2026: I did not get into MATS fellowship for Summer 2026, even though I really wanted it and felt it would "change my life" February 2026: I got rejected from Notion on the first round, even though I thought it was going to be easy. I learned I need to improve my ability to take an interview. February 2026: I was in the application process for Imbue and I did not make it past the 3rd round, even though I really wanted to work there. January 2026: Did not get into South Park Commons Fall 2025: I applied for and did not get into the Residency. Fall 2025: I did not ask girl for contact information that was definitely into me because I was shy and I will never see her again. Fall 2024: Not getting into the silicon valley trip Fall 2024: Not being admitted into Stanford TreeHacks Fall 2023: Not getting into AI@UIUC Spring 2021: I could have chosen to do AP Lang, but I didn't think I would be good enough to do AP Lang, so instead I did other normal English classes. I didn't believe in myself.
